New video and the single "Harm/Terms" is out on streaming platforms

New music and video released on streaming platforms: Exit North's new single Harm / Terms!

These new tracks will be part of Exit North's live set to be performed during the UK tour by the end of this month.

Accompanying the release is a new music video directed and produced by singer Thomas Feiner. Having captured himself against a backdrop of tailored and treated AI-clips, featuring simian elements among other things, Feiner says:

"For better and worse, generative media is here. And now that the artists were robbed in a sense, I think it's important to see if the artistic purpose can be reclaimed in this new world. The video itself is a somewhat satirical attempt in that direction. It loosely illustrates things that unavoidably float around in my mind these days: History repeating itself, the manosphere, ressentiment, radicalisation, screens, algorithms and what not."

And why apes?

"If survival of the friendliest was the evolutionary factor that enabled civilisation - then what I'm seeing now feels almost like a counter-evolution of sorts. So I've used apes as symbols for that retrograde impulse - with no animal disrespect intended!"
